Commitment

Dewa Ryusen's Commitment

We work closely with the power of nature and make the most of the blessings of the land.
Our rice farming continues thanks to the combined efforts of water, soil, and people.

The pure water of the Omono River

The mineral-rich meltwater
Bringing out the vitality of rice,
It creates a clear taste.

Soil cultivation passed down for 200 years

Fertile soil rich in nutrients
It supports the flavor of rice.

Human hands and thoughts

With the minimum amount of pesticides and fertilizers required,
We cultivate rice to bring out its full potential.
While adhering to the same standards as conventional cultivation,
We continue to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

The blessings of the Omono River, pure meltwater

The snow that has accumulated in the Dewa Mountains melts in the spring sun and flows into the Omono River.
The pure water, rich in minerals, irrigates the rice fields and brings out the gentle sweetness of the rice.
The blessings of nature are the origin of the Dewa-ryu River.

Rich soil inherited for 200 years

The fertile soil has been passed down from generation to generation in this area.
The nutrient-rich soil that has been cultivated over many years allows the rice to grow robustly.
The flavor and aroma of rice are based on this soil.

Spending a year together like a child

From rice planting in the spring to harvesting in the fall, we put our heart and soul into each and every step of the process.
We continue to watch over the rice as it grows, staying close to it like family.
This is rice cultivation unique to this area, where nature and people live in harmony.
